Youth Ministries

Our youth ministry exists to provide a HEALTHY community that will REACH students, bring them TOGETHER with other Christians, help them GROW in their faith, and challenge them to OFFER themselves to God’s ministry and WORSHIP Him with their whole life.

Sunday School

The junior/sensior high Sunday School class meets every Sunday morning at 10:45 and is just for youth in grades 6-12. For more information contact us at 580-237-3938.

Youth Group

The CUMC youth group is open to youth in junior and senior high. They meet on Sunday nights at 6 pm in the church welcome center and do a variety of activities -- all focused on fun, fellowship, and learning how to live their faith in today's society. Visitors are always welcome.

Youth Force

Youth Force is an outreach ministry for youth that provides an opportunity for service to those in need. By working together, youth and adults have the opportunity to help others in need for one week during the summer.

Youth Force began as a summer mission project for three Oklahoma city churches in 1987. Sponsored by the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church and Volunteers in Mission, Youth Force has grown over the years to include six different sites around Oklahoma.

Summer Conference & Youth Leadership Camps

Each summer the United Methodist church offers week-long camps focused on developing the faith walk and leadership skills of our youth. JEM camp is the leadership opportunity for junior high students. CYME is the leadership camp for senior high youth. Click here for more information on this year's camps & Youth Force events.

Confirmation Class

The word confirmation means “with firmness”. For junior high students at CUMC, confirmation means a continuation of their lifelong faith journey. Confirmation classes include an overview of the Christian faith, Scripture, history and heritage, practices, beliefs and commitments as United Methodist Christians. Confirmation provides a loving environment in which our youth can explore their faith and with the support of adult mentors from their faith family.
